Mistra Bay

Mistra Bay , St Paul's Bay , malta

Beach

To get to Mistra Bay isn’t so easy it’s situated in between Bugibba going on your way to Mellieha. This pebbly beach not very well known spot for tourist, but you will find here mostly local families overtaking the whole beach with their tents, umbrellas and chairs. Lots of parking area available.

Compare to other beaches in Malta they have nothing like Mistra Bay. The bay is surrounded by the greenish area, it’s very quiet and great area to relax and have a nice walk around by the sea. Although if you really want to spend all day on the beach then we suggest that you get there early and reserve your best looking spot since this beach is very small indeed.

During your day at the Mistra Bay you can relax, sunbathe, meet new people and make friends and take pictures of nature and kids playing in the sea with pebbles and sand and also Mistra bay has good opportunity to snorkel and discover the underwater life.

Just visible enough from the bay are fish farming pens which are part of growing lucrative industry. Just across the bay you will find kiosks selling any type of food or else there are two nice restaurants called Margo’s which do everything from fresh salads to best pizza’s on the island and Palazzo Santa Rosa does traditional Maltese cuisines. So while you are relaxing on the beach or walking around and looking at the historical places don’t forget to try one of them out.
